Mr. Phillip Oneal Wolfe, the son of Carolyn Wolfe, was born on October 2, I980. He departed this life on Friday, November I0, 2023 at 5:00 a.m. at Conway Medical Center.
Phillip grew up in the "Cochran Town" community of Conway, South Carolina. He was a member of Miracle Tabernacle Church of God in Christ and attended Conway High School. While he was able to work, he was employed at Winn Dixie, the Myrtle Beach Pavilion (in the early part of 2000), and Plantation Apartments. He really enjoyed working at Plantation Apartments because he had a knack for landscaping and installing air conditioner units. Phillip was kind-hearted, humble, a hard worker, and a team player who would do whatever he could to help others. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Phillip was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jessie and Betty Wolfe; great grandparents, Jeff and Alice Wolfe; Hattie Leathers McCants; three great uncles, Author Wolfe, Christopher James, and James Conner; and one great aunt, Dora McCants.
Left to cherish fond memories are his loving mother Carolyn Wolfe of Conway, South Carolina; one sister, Kiesha Wolfe of Conway, South Carolina; two uncles, Woodrow (Alice) Thomas of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and Frank Wolfe of Conway, South Carolina; three first cousins, Juanita Thomas, Woodrow Thomas, Jr., and Jeremiah Thomas all of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; one second cousin, Jayiah Thomas of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; his great aunts, Isabel Wolfe of Burleigh, New Jersey, and Sylvia Conner; one great uncle, Jerry McCants and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, November 17, 2023, at Miracle Tabernacle COGIC in Myrtle Beach. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. There will be a viewing from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Thursday, November 16, 2023, at Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, Conway Chapel.
