Ms. Princess Laura Asbury was born to the late Reverend Willie Asbury and Elder Princess G. Asbury on March 26, 1989. She departed this life on March 5, 2023.
Princess attended school in Westwood, New Jersey, and graduated with the class of 2007 from Westwood High School. She earned her associate's Degree in nursing and began her career at Conway Medical Center.
She was the most beautiful, soft-spoken, kindhearted, and most humbled person that you could have ever seen or had the pleasure of meeting.
Princess leaves to cherish fond memories her husband; the love of her life and soul mate, Marvin Livingston, along with their six children, Harmoni Livingston, Desaray Livingston, Darron Clemons, Marvin Livingston, Ke'Shawn Livingston and Princess Livingston (PJ); her godson, Royal Manigault; her six brothers and six sisters, Joy (Joel) Jackson of Spartanburg, SC, Melissa Asbury of Clayton, NC, Anthony Jackson of Conway, SC, Chavaune Stephenson of Spartanburg, SC, Mark Stephenson of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Debbie Asbury of Lodi, NJ, Eddie (Norma) Asbury of Bergenfield, NJ, Elaine Vassell of West Palm Beach, FL, Hugh Vassell of Jasper, FL, Willie (Ria) Asbury of Haledon, NJ, Jasmine Asbury of Woodland Park, NJ, and Dennis (Sandra) Stephenson of Fort Lauderdale, FL; her adopted sisters, Kim Harvey of Bergenfield, NJ, Camille Taylor of Belleville, NJ, Dr. Casey Beasley of Syracuse, NY, Asia Pennington of Clifton, NJ, Markia Kirkland of Richmond, VA, Officer Vena Marks of Hawthorne, NJ and adopted brother, Minister O'Neal McClean of Bergenfield, NJ, and bonus sister, Ladovia (Rodrick) Brown- Manigault of Conway, SC; her mother-in-law, Lucinda Livingston of Longs, SC and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and loved ones.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Greater St. James AME Church in the Cochran Community. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. There will be a viewing from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Friday, March 24, 2023, at Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, Conway Chapel.
