Ralph Spivey

Ralph Spivey Sr. was the son of the late Gee and Beulah Spivey. He was born on January 2, 1929, in Horry County.

Ralph Spivey departed this life on October 2, 2021.

He received his education in Horry County Schools. Ralph enjoyed golfing, showcards, fishing, his family, music, and hunting.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Bessie Mae Spivey, and three children Bruce, Earl, and Otis Spivey that would have made a total of 18 children, his brothers and sisters the late Issiec, Francis, Thomasema, and Jenevie.

He leaves to cherish his memories 15 children: Ralph Spivey Jr, Isazer Spivey, Charles, Joseph, Eugene, Linda, Olean, Diane, Warren, Janette, Sylvester, Patti, Marlisa, Judy, and Patricia, and a host of aunts, uncles, sisters-in-law, great-grand-children, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, and other loving relatives and friends.

Ralph Spivey of Myrtle Beach passed away on October 2, 2021.  There will be a viewing held Friday, October 8, 2021, at Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, Myrtle Beach Chapel from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 9, 2021, at Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, Myrtle Beach Chapel. Burial will follow at the Pine Island Community Cemetery.
