Richard Howell

Richard Lee Howell was born on February I9, I973 in Greensboro, Georgia to the late Jessie Howell and the late Linda Carroll. He transitioned from this earthly life into eternal rest on Sunday, January 26, 2025.

He attended Taliaferro High School in Greensboro, Georgia where he assisted in winning the state championship in football. Richard was employed with Richardson and Sons as a truck driver for 26 years and was a loyal fan of the San Francisco 49ers football team.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Howell and Linda Carroll; two children, Rakeem Howell, and Richard Lee Howell, Jr. and one brother James Howell.

He is survived by his loving wife, Angie D. Howell; his son, Damin Howell; three grandchildren, Rakiyah Stephens, Xzavier Howell, and Zoya Jones; two brothers, Hansom Howell and Jimmy Howell; four sisters, Cynthia Howell, Jazmin Howell, Jessica Ingram, and Sandra Porter; his mother-in-law, Sarah Tucker; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

 A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 PM at Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, Conway Chapel.
