Robert Barnes

Robert Dwayne Barnes AKA Biscuit the son of the late Robert Thomas Barnes and Shirley Ann Barnes was born March 30th, 1962, in Brooklyn New York. Robert passed away peacefully on November 12th, 2021, at the age of 59.

Robert attended the New York school system before moving to Maryland where he completed his education. After high school Robert joined the United States Army. After his service in the military Robert then moved to Myrtle Beach South Carolina in 1995. During his time in Myrtle Beach South Carolina, he attended Saint Delight Pentecostal Church where the Pastor is Dr. Charles Randall. Robert enjoyed the simplest pleasures in life, such as sports, family, vacationing, and the Word of God.

Robert will be wholeheartedly missed by his loving wife Tammie Barnes of 26 years; his mom, Shirley Barnes; 5 beautiful daughters: Shalonda, Ahlia, Marie, Nikkitta, and Ameena; and 1 bonus daughter, Kimaya; 2 Sons: Robert Jr and De’Anthony; 1 son-in-law, Russell; 4 stepchildren: Tamesha(Kevin), Tiara, Ulysees(Shenequa), and Daquan; 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; 2 sisters: Wanda (Lee), Lisa; 3 brothers: Raymond, Darryl (Sharon), Michael (Anna); 1 Uncle: Edmond; and 1 Aunt: Blonde; 1 sister in law, Vanessa Singleton; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Robert Barnes of Myrtle Beach passed away on Friday, November 12, 2021. There will be a viewing held from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm Monday, November 22, 2021, at Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, Myrtle Beach Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at Trinity United Methodist Church in North Myrtle Beach. Burial will follow at Pine Island Community cemetery.
