On Easter Sunday morning April 4th, 2021, Father God so fit to enter beloved, Bubba Gee into eternal glory. Heaven reached down and picked a beautiful flower to replant. Bubba was the youngest son of Sammy Lee Gee and Hazel Pierce Gee.
He was born on July 21, 1974, in Marion County hospital. He was converted into baptism at an early age. He attended various local churches in the area and beyond. Bubba attended all required public schools and graduated from Aynor High School in 1994.
He was employed full-time with Tracy’s Construction Company until his departure. Rodney was the very loving and kindhearted man to all with whom he had developed a personal relationship. with. He was a humbled spirited man with respect for others and loved to laugh. Bubba was the kind of man that if you got a chance to know him, you would love him from that day forward. He will never be forgotten, terribly missed, forever loved, and always in our hearts.
Rodney was preceded in death by a raised brother, Wade Lee Thomas/Gee
Rodney is survived by his mother, Hazel P. gee, five children, Jacobi Gee, Rick Gee, Ryan Gee, Jakara Gee, and Ka-Leak Gee all of Aynor, SC, three grandchildren, two brothers, Samuel Gerome Gee (Amanda) of Aynor, SC, and Leon Gee (Yalanda) of Atlanta, Ga., and one raised like sisters, Gail Cross, Peggy Pierce, Sherry Goodman and, Freda Roberts all of Aynor SC. one special cousin/brother, Leo H. Boatwright, Rodney has multiple aunts and uncles in the surrounding areas and beyond. He has a generational host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Rodney “Bubba” Gee, we truly love you, and we miss you terribly but, our memories together will forever remain with us on earth and whenever we think of you.
Rest on in Lord Jesus our beloved son, brother, father grandfather, and friend.
Our “refuge, comfort, strength, and joy comes from the Lord. We lift up our eyes to the hills where our help comes from” Psalms 46:1-3 Psalms 121:1
Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 10, 2021, at St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Aynor. Ocean View Funeral Home Conway Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
