Rosemary Nesbit Obituary

Rose Mary Nell Gause Nesbit was born August 8, 1949, to the late Deacon Roy Cause and the late Emma Small Cause in Myrtle Beach, SC. She transitioned this life on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at Waccamaw Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by three children: Priscilla A. Gause, Walter Rod Cause, and Johnathan Cause. Three brothers: Charles Cause, Roy Cause Jr., and Re. Kent Cause, one sister: Emma Nataline Grant.

Rose was joined in Holy Matrimony to Rev. William Nesbit.

"Nell" as she was affectionately known, attended Carver Elementary School in Myrtle Beach, SC and Whittemore High School located in Conway, SC. At an early age of 13 years old, Nell accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior, was baptized and started her "Christian Journey" at Sandy Grove. She attended Sunday School, sung with the Junior Coir, the SV Riggins Young Adult Choir, member of the Y WA. Nell was the director for the Kingston Lake Union Choir. She was also a member of the Kingston Lake and Jerusalem Ministers Wives. She was a Past Loyal Lady Ruler of the Frank Jarvis Gore assembly #189 and a member of the Loyal Service Chapter #226 Order of the Eastern Star State of SC PHA. She also was a member of the Home Charity Lodge #26 of Georgetown, SC.

Sister Nesbit was a great worker and was gainfully employed at Thunderbird Hotel, AVX Corporation and Kentucky Fried Chicken for over 20 years. She enjoyed cooking, servings people and making beautiful food displays. Her favorite TV shows were Andy Griffith  and the Golden Girls.

She leaves to cherish precious memories to her husband, Rev. William R. Nesbit Sr, for 28 years, 2 sons: D'Angelo Cause and Robert (Aimee) Cause both of MBSC, two stepchildren: LaShawn Nesbit and William R. Nesbit Jr., one sister Carolyn G. Jackson Graham: two sisters-inlaw: Juanita W. Smalls of Georgetown, SC, and Mary (John) Greene of New Haven, Ct, one brother-in-law: Roosvelt Nesbit of Lumberton, NC. 7 grandchildren: Will, Isiah and Emma Cause, Lailah & Tyriq Cause, MiAngel Vaughn and Madison Robinson. 2 great-grandson's: Ziymar Vaughan and Andre Dyson Jr. 5 step grandchildren: Ida Rollinson, Zaryiah Hoovers, Keondrian Morris, Angel Nesbit and William R. Nesbit Ill. A nephew that was like a son, Roy Cause 111, a host of other loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Special friends: Royce ad Darnell Franklin, Ikea Simmons and Joey McKlvey, special parents: Deacon Luck and Rev. Essie Mae Bromell.

 

 

Rosemary Gause Nesbit of Myrtle Beach passed on August 4, 2022. There will be a viewing from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, Myrtle Beach Chapel.  A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, August 11, 2022, at Sandy Grove Missionary Baptist Church.  Interment will follow at Pine Island Community Cemetery.  The Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, Myrtle Beach Chapel will be assisting the Nesbit Family.
