Roy Alston

Roy Alston was called home on February 11, 2020. Roy attended Horry County public schools and worked as the community Handy Man. His parents Champ and Elwood Alston proceeded him in death along with two siblings Marsha Ann Alston and Lenwood Alston. 

He leaves to cherish his loving memories: former spouse Deloris Simmons, two sons Brandon and Shawn Alston, two stepsons Johansen and Yen Simmons, three brothers Champ Alston Jr, Jerome (Lori) Alston, Timmy (Alice) Alston, four sisters Mary (Jessie) Sutton, Lucinda Foster, Geneva Alston, Stella Alston, 14 Grandchildren, one aunt Annie Howard, in-laws Elouise Alston, Barbara Bellamy, Maryland Simmons, Andrew (Margaret) Simmons, David (Judy) Simmons, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Roy will be greatly missed but never forgotton.

 Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday February 17, 2020 at True Light Sounds of Praise in Myrtle Beach. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, February 16, 2020 Ocean View Funeral Home, Myrtle Beach Chapel. Ocean View Funeral Home Myrtle Beach Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
