For those of you that don’t know, let us tell you a little bit about this Diva:

Saundra B Carson was born on January 11, 1944, to Milton D. Bolling and Carmen L. Bolling in New York City. She answered God’s call on Sunday, March 7th, 2021, and made her transition at home surrounded by her loving family members.

Sandy grew up in New York City and she was educated in the NYC school system. After that, she graduated from Burlington County College in New Jersey and then went on to graduate from Trenton State University (now named The College of New Jersey).

Sandy started her accomplished career as a Social Worker in the Department of Corrections for the state of New Jersey and she completed her service after 25 years as the Human Resources Manager at New Lisbon Developmental Center, a state facility.

In 1974, Sandy was blessed with the birth of her beautiful daughter, Ebony Bolling and on March 5th, 1994 she married her soulmate and forever love, Ernest Carson, known simply as Carson.

Sandy and Carson retired and relocated from Willingboro, New Jersey to live in the sunshine of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina where they lived an amazing life full of family and great friends.

To know Sandy was to love her. She loved her family and she was passionate about them being together, united. She made everyone feel welcomed and she was known as “Mom” to many.

Sandy was dedicated to serving on boards and committees in her community. She also enjoyed volunteering in social and political causes. She loved playing cards and games with her family. Shopping for anything brought her great joy.

Sandy leaves behind to honor her memory, her husband, Ernest Carson, her daughter, Ebony Bolling, siblings, Gail Wilson, Lynda Fitzgerald (Mike) and Walter Bolling, niece and nephew, Deena Wilson and Michael Bolling, great-nephew, Darius Bolling, great-niece, Layla Carey and a host of family and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, March 12, 2021, at Ocean View Funeral Home, Myrtle Beach Chapel.
