"My Table is Now Prepared"

Shaquanna Necole Brunson of Conway passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2023. 

Miss Shaquanna Necole Brunson, known as "Quanna" was born on October II, 1994 in Loris, South Carolina to Mr. Brian Brunson and Mrs. Janet Lewis.

She attended and graduated from the public schools of Whiteville, North Carolina. She was a member of New Life House of Judah, Loris South Carolina where she enjoyed the Praise Dance Team. Quanna was a very humble and loving person who always greeted you with that beautiful smile. She always loved being inspirational and encouraging to others. Fashion and "glamming" herself up became her second nature.

Quanna was preceded in death by her grandmother, Carolyn Freeman; her grandfather, Melvin Alford, Sr. and cousin Amber Tucker.

Shaquanna leaves to cherish her fond and loving memories, her loving and devoted father Brian (Sherry) Brunson and loving mother Janet (Jimmie)Lewis; five sisters, Chantel Shaw, Briosha Brunson, Jokira Grissett, Jokhadijah Grissett and Sherytijah Grissett; one brother, JoTe'Ail (Tateannia) Grissett; her paternal grandparents who played a significant role in her life, Willie and Angie Brunson, Sr., her maternal grandmother whom she loved dearly, Carrie Capers; four uncles, Willie (Kimberly) Brunson Jr, William Brunson, Alfonso Alford and Melvin (Dale) Alford Jr; one aunt, Mary Ann Alford; six nieces, Nevaeh, Tamera, Angel, Isabella, Jaylah and Jenesis; four nephews, Bryson, Adian, Kamren and Zarryen; a special friend, Waymond Bellamy; special great aunt and uncle with whom she spent a lot of time, Larry (Sybil) Freeman, Frances Days and Sarah Freeman. She will be missed by a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at Mason Temple Church of God in Christ.  Interment will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.  There will be a viewing from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, on Monday, August 28, 2023, at Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, Conway Chapel.
