Ms. Patrice Williams, daughter of the late JoAnn and Linford Vereen of Longs, South Carolina was born on November 7, 1970. She departed this earthly life on November 23, 2024.
She attended Horry County Public Schools and was employed at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Patrice enjoyed cooking, decorating, and traveling. She was very loving and kind with a contagious smile and a heart of gold. She was always willing to help anyone who asked and she never met a stranger. For all who was blessed to know her will be forever moved by her warmth and loving spirit.
Patrice received Christ at an early age and joined Freemont Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed attending other churches as long as her health permitted her to do so.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents; a sister, Tonya Williams; a son, Milton Williams; and a brother, Russell Reaves.
Patrice leaves to cherish loving memories to her father, Jimmy (Brenda) Bellamy of Ahoskie, North Carolina; two daughters, Shannon Williams and Tisheila Williams both of Longs, South Carolina; one son, De’Ontray Williams, South Carolina; a host of children she raised as her own, Harold (Vanessa) Williams, David (LaQuita) Capers, Sherida Bellamy, Kheishei (Franklin) Gibson, Alexandria (Craig) Glenn, Ny’Asia Riley, and Danicia Swann; five sisters, Sandra (Lerone) Long of Longs, South Carolina, Betty (Sam) McCoy of Little River, South Carolina, Veronica Bellamy of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Marquira Green of Loris, South Carolina, and Shanequa Mack of Manhattan, New York; five brothers, Linwood (Jessica) Vereen of Longs, South Carolina, Harold Williams of Columbia, South Carolina, Lamont Bellamy of Longs, South Carolina, Joey Davis of Bennington, Vermont, James Hudson of Little River, South Carolina; 24 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; bonus sisters whom she loved dearly, Sheretta Ford, Cynthia Gore, Aundreia Long and Janet Floyd; two favorite uncles, Marvin Nance of Longs, South Carolina and Earl (Antoinette) McDuffie of Fayetteville, North Carolina; a special friend, Roger Gore; five favorite cousins, Loretta Miller, Alice Isaiah, Cynthia McCray, Patrina Riggins and Regina Gibson; along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and a community that she left an undeniable impression on.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at Freemont Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. There will be a viewing from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Friday, November 29, 202,4 at Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, North Strand Chapel.
