Snow R. Howard Davis was born on June 5, I945 to the late Floyd Howard and Florence Pittman Howard in Whiteville, North Carolina. She departed this life on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at Conway Medical Center.
She grew up in Horry County and attended school in Finklea, South Carolina. She worked at Anvil for 20 years, Westgate Resort, and Kingston Plantation for many years where she was loved by many. Snow had a passion for sewing, knitting, and sitting outside talking amongst her friends.
Snow was joined in holy matrimony to the late Rev. William Davis, and to this union, four children were born.
She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Hazel Howard and three other sisters, Helen Howard, Elease Howard, and Lena-bell Howard; and one brother, Morris Howard.
She leaves to cherish loving memories her children, Steven (Avis) Davis, Mack (Andrea) Davis, Florence (Dominique) Harris, and Jamie (Bobbie) Davis; bonus children, Adrian Pressley, Antwon Kelley, Toni Davis, Vickie Small, and Shonda Coward; her brothers, Johnny Howard, Jimmy Howard, Freddy Howard, Alfred Howard; 24 grandchildren, I0 great-grandchildren, Raquan, Legeuint, Kenji, Brianna, Alasia, Tiffany, Stephanie, Steven Jr., Malajha, Christyana, CJ, Dashawn, Komori, Taniya, Malik, and Sheba; a dear friend, Wanda Brown, and her special friend, Harold Thomas.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, June 21, 2024, at St. Stephen's Baptist Church in Marion. There will be a viewing from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, on Thursday at Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, Conway Chapel. Interment will be at 1:00 PM, Monday, June 24, 2024, at Florence National Cemetery.
