Stephanie Bellamy

“And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” St. John 14:3

On March 9, 2020, God in his infinite wisdom saw fit to remove from our midst our beloved, Stephanie “Step” Livingston Bellamy. She was born on October 2, 1961 to Mrs. Lillie Mae and the late William Christopher Livingston. She is preceded in death by one sister, Mary Gretel Bellamy and two brothers, Ronald Frinks and Dayton Coronda Frinks.

She was educated in the public schools of Horry County. She also attended Horry Georgetown Technical Collage. Stephanie was employed by various hotels along the Grand Strand until her health began to fail. Her greatest passion was cooking and feeding people in the neighborhood. She showered everyone with love especially Ronette Kelly and Maconda Wilson whom she refereed to as her little sisters.

She leaves to cherish fond memories; a loving and devoted husband, Oree Bellamy; three stepchildren Tyronda Bellamy, Jerome Bellamy, and Tyrone Bellamy who preceded her in death, one sister Dale Evans of Longs, SC, one brother Christoper (LaTorya) Livingston of Longs, SC, three aunts Barbara Frinks of Florence, SC, Helen Frinks and Joe Carroll Livingston both of Longs, SC, one uncle Deacon Emanuel Williams of Charleston, SC, one sister-in-law Clara Williams of Longs, SC, two brothers-in-law Robert Lee (Vonnie) Bellamy of Fayetteville, NC., and Leo Bellamy of Loris, SC. She leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and very special friends.

Stephanie Bellamy of the Sandridge section of Longs passed away Monday March 9, 2020. Visitaion will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday March 14, 2020 at Ocean View funeral home Conway chapel. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday March 15, 2020 at St. John AME church in Longs. Burial will follow at the Abigail Cemetery in Longs. Ocean View funeral home Conway chapel is in charge of arrangments.
