Tahshawn T'lahjuwon Smalls

Tahshawn T'lahjuwon Smalls was born on April 8th, 2001 at Conway Hospital. Parents of Crystal Mae Holmes and Corey Napoleon Smalls. He was from Burgess and been here all his life. He graduate from St. James High school in 2019. He was a hard-worker which always kept several jobs from McDonalds his favorite first job to Ocean Lakes, car wash to his current employment Woodhaven Pancake House whish he been there since 2018. He leaves behind three brothers Malakye M'lahjuwon Smalls, Chance Masiyah Moultrie, and Deontay Baker. His grandparents Kelly Holmes, Willa Holmes, Gayle Smalls, and Napoleon Smalls. His aunts and uncles as well Deidra Alston, Tamica L. Shaw, Tamice L. Shaw, Edward Johnson, Elliott Holmes, Darren Holmes, Domonick Smalls, Dennis Montrele Smalls, and Datrone Smalls. He also left behind loving grand uncles and grand aunts, cousins, friends, and family members. My first born was loving and he would give you his last with no questions asked, just a promising answer even if he really didn't want to but aye that's Tahshawn for you. He was outspoken at times loves to take risk and his catch phase he always said to me is "Mama I'm living everyday as my last"! His smile and his grin always stuck in many minds like "Tahshawn right there" his answers was a grin and smile. He went by "Taters" for the longest then as he grew up he wanted us to call him "Ty" because now he feels like he's a grown man no more "Taters". Tahshawn I know your last breath was "my mama" all went through your mind was I was leaving my mama but know you will always be in my heart, on my mind, and I know we will meet again my son!

Tahshawn T'lahjuwon Smalls of the Burgess Community passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2022.  There will be a funeral service held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 2, 2022, at St. James High School. The Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, Myrtle Beach Chapel will be assisting this family.
