“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Psalm 34:18
Theresa Latasha Mishoe was a force of nature, a woman of boundless energy, immense heart, and sharp intelligence. Born in Conway, South Carolina, on January 11, 1989, to Levernon and Debra Ann Mishoe. Theresa lived a life defined by an unwavering spirit of perseverance. On April 28, 2026, at the age of 37, she departed this life, leaving behind a legacy of love, loyalty, laughter, and resilience.
A proud 2007 graduate of Conway High School, Theresa brought her vibrant personality to her career in retail. Outside of work, she was a lifelong learner with a passion for discovery. She owned a rare gift for turning her own experiences into earnest life lessons, which she shared generously with everyone she met. To know Theresa was to be inspired by her curiosity and her solid will to keep moving forward. Theresa loved to travel and spend time with her family and those she adored. Her pride and joy were her children, who were the very beats of her heart. Her greatest accomplishments were her children, and she showed unwavering love and devotion to her family, extended family, and loved ones without fail.
Theresa was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Levernon and Debra Ann Mishoe; her brother, Ivan Mishoe; and two nephews, Paul Mishoe and Jahi Mishoe.
Her legacy will live on through her three loving children, her daughter, Nevaeh, and her sons, Grayson and Easton. She also leaves to cherish her memories her siblings, her sisters, Rhonda (Paul) Goss, LaTonya (Ibrahima), Tahirah Mishoe, and Denisha Mishoe; her brothers, Anthony (Amy) Mishoe, Shawn Mishoe, and Tony Mishoe; honorary aunt, Saundra Rhodes; honorary brother, Cameron Rhodes; childhood and lifelong friends, Kelly Gause, Brittany Ford, and Angela Hayden; along with a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Theresa’s remarkable life, along with all the love shown for her, is a testament to the power of a resilient spirit. She will be deeply missed, but her humor, energy, and heart will be forever remembered.
