Thomas Eugene Randall was born July 8, 1935, to the late Ruby and Lula Randall in the Little River Neck Community of North Myrtle Beach, SC. He was affectionately known as “Champ” by his family and friends.
Thomas (A.K.A. Champ) was educated in the Horry County Public School system and later studied to become a tailor. He had many cars but was avid Cyclist. He rode his bike until his health began to fail. Champ was known as a soft-spoken man but could be very outspoken when he needed to be. There are so many memories and so many stories yet to be shared about his life.
Thomas was proceeded in death by his wife, Mary Randall Jackson and his daughter, Eleanora. Four siblings, Rodie Williams, Paul Randall, Alberta Edge, and Pauline Robinson.
Thomas was devoted member of Macedonia AME Church, where he served on the Steward Board and the Male Choir. He loved to sing, pray and dance before the Lord. He would often give his church family some words of wisdom whenever he was given the microphone during morning worship. Champs favorite worship phrase was “Jesus, Jesus, Jesus” One of his favorite songs was “I Don’t Feel No Ways Tired” by James Cleveland.
Thomas leaves to cherish his loving memories: his son Ronald (Donnicia Best) Randall of Conway, SC, his daughter, Thomasina Sinclair of Orlando, Fla., grandchildren, and great grandchildren, two sisters: Katie Randall and Bernise Smith of Harrisburg, Pa., his caregivers, (A.KA. Charlies Angels) Easter Mae Morgan, Salanda Jones, Gwen and Eddie Stevenson and Dr. Sandra Jones, and a host of loving relatives and friends.
Thomas Randall of Little River passed away on November 3, 2022. There will be a viewing held Monday, November 7, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, Conway Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at Macedonia AME Church, with Interment at St Paul AME Church Cemetery.
