Woodrow Henry, Jr.

On August 31, 2021, God dispatched an Angel down to bring His child home. Woodrow Henry Jr. was born on December 25, 1963 to the late Mr. Woodrow Sr., and the late Mrs. Earlen Bryant Henry.

June as he was affectionately called, attended the public school system in Conway, SC. He was a very hard worker. He worked for Carter Timber Company for many years, logging was his passion. He also spent many years working for Barnhill Construction, where he grew to love his passion more than anything.

June was a loving husband, outstanding father, he was the world’s greatest Papa, an amazing brother, caring uncle, awesome cousin and very dear friend to SO many. There’s nothing in the world he would not do for anybody. His heart was pure as gold.

Proceeded him death, his sisters, Annettia Miller and, Dorothy Lee Henry.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories, his wife Pastor Sally Henry, six children, Tiffany Taylor, Henry Gregg, Ireka Gregg, Candida Parrish, Woodrow Henry III (Taylor) and Shirley Alford, eleven grandchildren, Tyitianna King, Mekhi Gregg, Lariyah Gregg, Quinteeja Grissett, Larue Parrish, Aniiyah Taylor, Hon’est Gregg, Truith Gregg and Isiah Henry, his sisters, Delores (Bobby) Walters, Patricia (Joseph) Gaskins, Katrena (Deon) Moody all of Conway, three brothers, John (Linda) Henry, Tommy (Chermaine) Henry both of Conway, SC and Michael (Wendy) Henry of Fayetteville, NC a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles other relatives and friends. One special uncle and aunt, Peter and Cindy Booth, three special nephews, James, Earl and Gregg Jr. 

Woodrow Henry, Jr. of Conway, passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2021. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Conway. A viewing will be held from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, Conway Chapel.
