Zack Vereen

Zack Vereen was born to the late Wilhemenna Brown and John Henry Vereen on April 24, 1945. He departed this life on September 3, 2021, in Conway, SC in the care of the staff at Conway Hospital.

He retired from Bethlehem Steel in Buffalo, NY.

In addition to the demise of his parents, Zack was preceded in death by his son, Zackary Vereen and brothers Robert Williams and Henry Edward Vereen.

He leaves to cherish one daughter Vernita (Robert) Francis of Liveoak, FL; four grandchildren, Marcus McMillian of Pensacola, FL, Zackary and Zarckise Vereen of St. Petersburg, FL, Kennel H Francas of Elkridge, MD; two great grandchild Anias Foster of Liveoak, FL and Jayden Francas of Elkridge, MD; two brothers, Covell Vereen of Columbia, SC, and James (Stephanie) Vereen of Conway, SC; two sisters, Jeanne (Janice) Vereen and Josephine Portis of Conway, SC; and a host of aunts, one uncle Thad Williams, nieces, nephews, friends, one God daughter Ritia Williams, and one special friend Deloris Myrak.

Zack Vereen of Conway passed on September 3, 2021. There will be a graveside service held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, Conway Chapel will be assisting this family.
